Expo2025_Working as an Artist Manager and Translator

Third time performing at the Expo!

I had the honor of serving as the English-speaking site manager and interpreter for the opening ceremony of the Cartier Women’s Pavilion.

In this project, I supported both the UK-based composer and his choir, Shards, as well as the Japanese performers, through detailed coordination and interpretation.

To ensure seamless communication, I studied the musical score and context thoroughly, aiming to convey every nuance of the music—its words, rhythm, and intention.

Although I still have much to learn in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, this opportunity to collaborate with such a talented and dedicated team was truly invaluable.

I remain deeply grateful for this experience and will continue striving to grow through future projects.
